Yeah… must be nice when you actually have money.
I spent decades studying digital marketing from the sidelines because I was living on a fixed SSDI income. Not because I was lazy. Not because I didn’t want it.
Because I literally could not afford the tools everyone else kept saying were “required.” Sure, there are many free trials and free versions of this or that but free simply lets you try before you buy. You cannot run a profitable business using all the free stuff! You can definitely get started and get your feet wet so to speak but you can’t maintain and profit.
So, I did the only thing I could do. I learned. I watched others succeed and I stacked knowledge like firewood, waiting for the day I could actually use it because one thing I either read or heard was “Success will be found at the crossroads of Opportunity and Preparedness”. That quote stuck with me thru the years, and I vowed to learn as much as I could about earning an income online in great faith that one day I would get that opportunity and I WOULD BE PREPARED!
Fast-forward to August 2025 — everything changed. and I do mean EVERYTHING!
I was blessed to inherit a little money from a deceased relative, and I did not even have to think about how to or where to spend the money. I finally had the chance to invest in myself, and I wasn’t wasting it. Of course, I wanted to save some and I have, but I wanted to find the perfect opportunity to invest in myself! I knew education was first on my list. Anything you want to achieve requires knowledge. Whether it is a traditional college or trade/tech school, you have to learn the ins and outs. You need the proper tools (a carpenter needs hammers and nails, power tools, etc.…) and you must be confident in your ability to make it happen. I
joined SWC 2.0 because the value was ridiculous, the community felt real, and the path finally made sense.
Now I’m actually doing the thing I’ve wanted to do since 2006:
Build my own online income stream — on purpose, not by accident.
I’m starting with email marketing and list building because I’ve watched people crush it for years.
Not with hype.
Not with gimmicks.
But with simple funnels, good lead magnets, and real connection.
This time, I’m not watching from the sidelines.
This time, I’m in.
